Spring Lookbook

Spring Lookbook

This spring is full of bohemian touches: fringes, soft fabrics, flowing shapes, those poncho things and flairs. It’s all the “Coachella” fuss and seventies revival. Flower crowns, overalls, statement necklaces, floppy hats and crop tops. It’s all right I guess for now, but I don’t see it as a permanent trend, TBH. Then again, I did just get a pair of overalls.

So I guess what I’m trying to say is everybody is currently obsessing over it all. Meanwhile, I’m contemplating if I like it or not. It’s cool and all, but I guess I’m just not that into it. I realize that I did not exist in the seventies, or the eighties, or the nineties, but I still feel like flared pants, jumpsuits, and high waisted jeans has already been done.

It all makes me wonder, are we going to go back to flapper girl dresses, or whatever chaotic disaster that was going on during the 80’s?

So, with all that in mind, let’s take a look at the best of this spring’s style. Enjoy.

First of all, let me just note that these beautiful outfits are from Mimi Ikonn. Monochrome is definitely one of those classic looks that's timeless. Mimi has a great video up on her channel for a whole monochrome cookbook. Just putting it out there.

Everything about this works. I won't be wearing it, but just wait.
