World Cup 2014

World Cup 2014

Hello everybody,
The World Cup! This year in Brazil, the World Cup, involving 32 teams, has surprised at some points, thrilled at others, and excited us all! One of the best parts about this event is that no matter if you’re on FC Barcelona or which ever team each player goes back to there native country.
In each of the 8 groups these teams are doing the best:
Brazil
Netherlands
Columbia
Costa Rica
France
Argentina
Germany
Algeria

Spain, Croatia, Greece, Uruguay, Honduras, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Portugal, and Russia are in 4th and last place in there groups.

Let’s have a look at the best players in the World Cup right now:
Lionel Messi- Argentina (1st place in their group)
Despite being one if the best soccer players ever he’s never gotten past the quarter finals of the World Cup. The 26 year old plays in Spain on FC Barcelona.
Christiano Ronaldo- Portugal (4th place right now in their group)
Him and Lionel Messi have been in close competition for being the best soccer player in the world right now. He plays for Real Madrid, a close competitor with Lionel Messi’s team FC Barcelona.
However, right now, his team is in last place, beaten by Germany.
Neymar Jr. (1st place right now in their group)
20 million dollar salary, Neymar Jr, 22 years old, is on word the fastest growing footballers in the world. Like Lionel Messi, he’s from FC Barcelona.
Andres Iniesta- Spain (4th place in their group)
The 29 year old, despite being in last place for Spain, scored the final winning goal at the South African World Cup last World Cup. He is another great player on FC Barcelona.

Personally I am for Brazil and Argentina (Neymar and Messi)!
Comment below with your favorite team, player, and guess for the next 2014 World Cup winner.

Happy World Cup,
Misstweenster
